Little Cabin - 4 people:

This comfortable rustic cabin was originally made for the owner to live in and was used for the entire winter that the other cabins were being constructed.
It is designed on a Canadian model and is built with basalt stones and local timbers so that it naturally fits in with the local environment. On the upper level you will find a queen sized bed with a bed side table and shelves for your clothes.
The three windows allow the soft light to enter your room as well as provide a beautiful view of the mountain range which marks the border to Chile as well as give the opportunity to watch the condors soar over the dormant volcano only kilometers away.
The lower level has double glazed windows in every direction, a cozy sofa to snuggle on, a dining table, bathroom and kitchen. The kitchen offers two stove plates and cooking equipment as well as a small fireplace to heat the cabin and keep food warm.
Hot water is provided by a gas boiler while cold water flows from the stream and lights are solar powered. If you need more than 220V electricity, there are facilities at the main house.
Outside the small cabin there is an outdoor fireplace with table and seats. We like to prepare meals ´A La Carte´ which can either be delivered to your cabin or enjoyed at the home restaurant.

Horses and saddles:

At H&H we live together with crellos and other mixed horse breeds that are very strong and sturdy and are used by the Gaucos. These horses were brought over during the Spanish settlement and were left behind and used by the Gaucos for their farm work. These hardy animals are able to survive in harsh climates as well as on relatively infertile soil and tough grasses while still maintaining a gentle temperament.
